What we offer

We work with frontline professionals to identify people who need emergency food and support. The professionals we work with include Citizens Advice, Chichester District Council, healthcare professionals, charities, children's centres and schools.

These professionals can give you a food voucher which you can exchange for food and support at one of our foodbank centres across the District.

We can help you by…

Giving you an emergency food parcel

We can give you an emergency food parcel that will provide a balanced diet for three days for each person in your household. Food parcels are tailored to your needs. They also include other essentials such as toiletries, nappies, washing powder, and even pet food.

We have no-cook food parcels if you are struggling to pay your fuel bills and can make up food parcels for specific dietary requirements.

Offering you fresh food and household essentials

You can help yourself to a range of food and household products at our foodbank sessions in Chichester. Fresh food is available from our partnership with UKHarvest. Toiletries and sanitary products are available from our partnership with Hygiene Bank.

There are also extra food items and household products, including pet food, that you can choose from.

Listening to you and pointing you to other services than can give support

Our volunteers are trained to listen if you want to talk. They have knowledge about a range of local support services and can refer you to support specific to your situation.

Introducing you to other organisations who can help (from our centre in Chichester)

You can also be supported directly at our sessions in Chichester by a range of local organisations. Harbour Rotary attend weekly and provide clothing and household items such as furniture. Supporting You, Carers Support West Sussex, the Samaritans and CAP are also regular visitors.
