Chichester District Foodbank offers a range of free groups designed to help you build skills, find support, connect with others, and enjoy creative activities.
Whether you’re looking to learn something new, share experiences, or simply meet people in a welcoming space, there’s a group for you.
Stand Stronger Together: relaxed, friendly drop-in session
Come along to our relaxed, friendly drop-in session — a warm, welcoming space to meet others, share food, and enjoy creative activities. This group is all about connection, support and community.
There’s a bring-and-swap clothes rail, occasional fix-it-for-free sessions, and plenty of chances to learn new skills, or just have a chat over a hot drink and a bite to eat.
No need to book — just drop in.

Tea, Toast, Talk – Friday morning drop-in group with local support agencies
Pop in for a warm drink, some toast, and a relaxed chat at our friendly Friday morning drop-in. Each week a different local organisation will be on hand to answer questions and support you with everyday challenges.
If you have a foodbank voucher, you can redeem it at this session for your food parcel.

- 3 April: Good Friday, no group
- 10 April: Repair Cafe – get help mending jewellery & electrical items
- 17 April: Royal Voluntary Service – find out about social and emotional support from their volunteer team
- 24 April: Supporting You team – support with income maximisation, debt signposting, budgeting, employment advice and health and wellbeing.
- 1 May: Hand massages with a Touch of Gentleness
- 8 May: Free hair trims with Chandler & Hall
No booking needed — just a welcoming space to talk, connect, and feel supported.
Singing for Wellbeing group – Friday morning singing group
Join our friendly Singing for Wellbeing group and enjoy singing simple, uplifting songs to boost your mood and support your wellbeing. No singing experience needed. Sessions are led by local singing for health specialist Ruth Routledge, who creates a warm, welcoming and inclusive space for everyone.

Cook & Connect – Learn to cook healthy food on a budget

Come along to learn how to cook delicious, healthy meals using budget-friendly ingredients. You’ll also get expert tips on cooking affordably from two professional chefs from Bradshaw Lodge Care Home.
