Chichester District Foodbank offers a range of free groups designed to help you build skills, find support, connect with others, and enjoy creative activities.

Whether you’re looking to learn something new, share experiences, or simply meet people in a welcoming space, there’s a group for you.


 

 

Stand Stronger Together: relaxed, friendly drop-in session

Come along to our relaxed, friendly drop-in session — a warm, welcoming space to meet others, share food, and enjoy creative activities. This group is all about connection, support and community.

There’s a bring-and-swap clothes rail, occasional fix-it-for-free sessions, and plenty of chances to learn new skills, or just have a chat over a hot drink and a bite to eat.

No need to book — just drop in.

Mount Noddy Animal Centre vet clinic on Tuesday 24 March

We’re delighted to be working with Mount Noddy Animal Centre to offer a free clinic for dogs and cats, giving you the chance to access essential health care and friendly, expert advice for your pets.

Each dog or cat will receive:
• A health check
• Flea and worm treatment
• Microchipping

Dogs: 10:00am – 11:30am
Cats: 11:30am – 1:00pm

Appointments are 15 minutes per pet. If you have more than one pet, please book one slot per animal (for example, two pets will need two slots).

Please note that dogs must be on a lead and cats must be in a secure carrier.

Thrive Thursdays: practical skills and wellbeing sessions

  • 19 March – Spring salad planting session with Transition Chichester

 

Tea, Toast, Talk – Friday morning drop-in group with local support agencies 

Pop in for a warm drink, some toast, and a relaxed chat at our friendly Friday morning drop-in. Each week a different local organisation will be on hand to answer questions and support you with everyday challenges.

If you have a foodbank voucher, you can redeem it at this session for your food parcel.

Financial advice from Barclays 

Chichester District Foodbank is teaming up with Barclays Bank, Chichester to provide vital financial wellbeing support to people across the district. Visitors can chat with the team about everyday money matters, get support on budgeting, managing debt, and building financial confidence, explore Barclays Digital Wings, a free online learning platform covering everything from budgeting and saving to staying safe from scams.
