Our large team of volunteers help us provide vital services to our community, and get involved in many aspects of our day-to-day operations.

From sorting items at our warehouse and delivering emergency food parcels to guiding clients to support services and helping fundraise at events, our work is only possible through their dedication.

We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone in crisis.

Chichester Volunteer Vacancies

Foodbank Centre Helper 

Tuesdays weekly 10am - 2pm

Help out at our weekly shared meal and support session (Stand Stronger Together). You'll be chatting with attendees, making hot drinks, setting up and clearing away.

Food Parcel Delivery Driver

Mon, Weds or Thurs AM or PM

Deliver food parcels to people in Chichester, anywhere between Lavant and the Witterings. We will reimburse fuel costs. If applying as a couple, please apply separately. You will still be a team, as we need two people delivering parcels.

Food Parcel Delivery Buddy

Mon, Weds or Thurs AM or PM

Van Driver

Thursdays, every fortnite.

We're looking for a reliable volunteer driver to collect food donations from collection points, transport them to our warehouse for sorting, and deliver them to our local food bank centres. 

Events Volunteer

Ad-Hoc

Support the food bank by volunteering at events across Chichester to help those in need. Roles include assisting with seasonal events, supermarket collections, money collections, and driving the van to pick up donations.

You will play a vital role in getting food parcel to clients in Petworth and surrounding villages. This role is fully flexible. We deliver in pairs so this is a great opportunity to volunteer with a friend/partner.

Phone Support Volunteer

Petworth and Midhurst

You will be the friendly voice who checks in with people, talks through their food needs, and has caring conversations and help identify local support services that could make a real difference.
