Chichester District Foodbank in the community this summer
This summer, our staff and wonderful volunteers will be out and about at events across Chichester District, and we’d love to see you there.
We’ll be chatting with people about the support Chichester District Foodbank can offer to anyone finding it difficult to afford the essentials. Whether someone needs help themselves, is worried about a friend or neighbour, or simply wants to learn more about what we do, we’ll be there to answer questions and point people in the right direction.
At some events, we’ll also be holding a raffle, with prizes up for grabs, many of which have been kindly donated by local businesses. Every ticket bought helps support our food bank, with all proceeds going directly towards providing emergency food and practical support for local people facing hunger and hardship.
We’re also very grateful to the local businesses and event organisers who will be fundraising for us at their own events this summer.

- Sat 13 June – Southbourne Parish Council's Sussex Day Fete, Southbourne Recreation Ground
- Sat/Sun 20–21 June – Cheese & Chilli Festival, Oaklands Park
- Friday 26 June - Kingsbridge will be fundraising for us by hosting a charity Padel tournament in Southampton
- Sat 27 June – Chichester Gala, Priory Park
- Sat 27 June – Fete in the Park, Petworth Park
- Sat 11 July – Summer Social, Bosham Inn
- Sat/Sun 25–26 July – Bourne Quilters will be fundraising for us at their event at Emsworth Community Centre
- Sun 2 August – Emergency Services & Community Day, Oaklands Park
