Join us for Festive Bites on a Budget and storytime in Southbourne this December

Join us on Thursday 11 December, 4–6pm at St John’s Church, Main Road, Southbourne, PO10 8LB for Festive Bites on a Budget & Storytime — a joyful afternoon of making, sharing and storytelling.

We’re teaming up with Arun and Chichester Food Partnership and the West Sussex Library Service to create a space where families can come together, slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of the season.

What’s in store:
Make festive, no-cook snacks using easy, child-safe tools — then lay out your treats on our festive sharing table for everyone to enjoy. Cheerful Christmas music will add that extra touch of Christmas spirit.

After the food fun, we’ll head to our cosy story corner, where children can enjoy a magical reading of The Night Before Christmas and sip hot chocolate as the stories unfold.

This free event is all about connection — families spending time together, learning simple, budget-friendly snack ideas, and making festive memories to take home.

Spaces are limited, so please book ahead and let us know any dietary requirements. Parking is available at the venue.
