Cook & Connect: bringing our community together through cooking

This spring, Chichester District Foodbank is delighted to be working with Bradshaw Lodge Care Home, part of the Crystal Care Collection, and Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove to deliver Cook and Connect. This free four-week course will bring people together through food while building confidence in cooking healthy, budget-friendly meals.

Hosted at our Chichester food bank centre, the sessions will offer a welcoming space where participants can learn to cook healthy, budget-friendly meals from scratch. With guidance from professional chefs from Bradshaw Lodge Care Home, participants will build confidence, skills and connection.

Participants who attend all four sessions will receive a free slow cooker to take home. These were kindly provided by CLM Fireproofing via Hyde Group’s Match my Project initiative.
