Kingsbridge Padel Tournament raises nearly £7,000 for Chichester District Foodbank

We’re incredibly grateful to announce that Kingsbridge Estates has raised an amazing £6,910 for Chichester District Foodbank through  their first-ever South Coast Charity Padel Tournament held at Chichester Racquets & Fitness Club on 26 June 2025.

Hosted under sunny skies, the event brought together teams from across the local property industry for a competitive and high-spirited afternoon of padel, with 100% of the proceeds supporting our work to help individuals and families in crisis across the district.

Participating teams included: Kingsbridge, Manhire, Wilten, Handelsbanken, Realest, LSH, Boyle and Summers, Freeths, Amiri Construction, Vibe, Vail Williams, Marshall Clark, CBRE, Hellier Langston, HNW, and DTRE. Congratulations to the tournament winners who took the top three spots; Kingsbridge Hellier Langston and Vail Williams.

This tournament was part of Kingsbridge’s Platinum Pledges – a year-long celebration of their 20th anniversary, marked by charitable and community-focused activities. We are especially moved by Kingsbridge’s further pledge to match every donation up to £10,000, potentially doubling the impact of the funds raised.

Marie Wallace, from Chichester District Foodbank, said:

Every pound raised enables us to help individuals and families in crisis in our community, providing food, essentials, and support services to help address the root causes of poverty.”

We would also like to give a heartfelt thank you to the Chichester Racquets & Fitness Club for hosting the tournament and all the  generous businesses who donated raffle prizes, including Bailiffscourt Hotel & Spa, Montezuma’s, Forge Flowers, Chichester Festival Theatre, Chichester Racquets Club, Fluid Adventures, Boxgrove Clinic, Cocoa Loco, The Beauty Island Sanctuary, Devil’s Dyke Distillery, Denmans Gardens, Kinsbrook Vineyard, Fishers Farm Park, and Goodwood Races.

Thank you also to Flapjackery for supplying delicious flapjacks to fuel the teams, and to The Sign Shop for donating event signage.

This donation will make a real difference to the lives of those we support, and we’re incredibly thankful for Kingsbridge’s continued commitment to our community.
