We are delighted to have Chichester City Football Club on board to give their support and commitment to our Football vs Hunger campaign, a campaign to harness the power of football.
Together, the collective support of clubs, fans and footballers across the UK can make a difference in helping to end the need for food banks. 82% of football fans believe that food banks shouldn’t exist, and Chichester City Football Club has committed to helping to end hunger by signing the Football vs Hunger charter.
Chichester City FC lends his support to our campaign
During the final match of the season against Dover, Chichester District Food Bank had a pop up stall, which provided an opportunity to speak to fans about the issues surrounding the campaign, as well as about the wider work we do within our community. Getting Chichester City Football Club and their fans to back our campaign really helps us to drive the message that hunger and hardship is simply not acceptable in our society and together we can create a better future, and make hunger history.
