Ending hunger together: the story of Chichester District Foodbank by Emilia Barnden

We’re delighted to share this powerful video, created by University of Chichester student Emilia Barnden for Chichester District Foodbank.

Emilia spoke with members of the public in Chichester to assess awareness of our organisation, the services we provide, and the increasing demand for food banks both locally and across the country.

She also interviewed our staff and volunteers, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the vital support we provide. Through powerful stories from those who have accessed our food bank and attended our weekly community group, she highlights the real impact our team has on those struggling to afford life’s essentials.

We’re so grateful to Emilia for working so closely with us; this video really encapsulates who we are and what we do. Together with Trussell we’re dedicated to ending the need for food banks, but while we work towards this goal we couldn’t do it without support from our community.
