We’d like to say a huge thank you to all the organisations who took part in our pilot help & information event ‘CHI-Hub’ on 24th September.
CHI-Hub, a collaboration between Chichester District Foodbank and Chichester City Council, aims to connect foodbank clients and local residents with essential services, supporting the Council’s 2024-2029 City Plan. Created in response to rising living costs, Chi-Hub brings local resources together under one roof, offering practical help and expert advice in a welcoming environment.
It focuses on providing face-to-face assistance on issues like financial advice, health, and family support, helping residents before they require foodbank aid.
Organisations attending our pilot event included:
-
- Carer’s Support West Sussex
- Chichester Wellbeing – Chichester District Council
- Citizen’s Advice Arun & Chichester
- Community Transport Sussex
- Christians Against Poverty
- Early Help – West Sussex County Council
- Home-Start Chichester
- Hyde Housing
- Life Centre
- Portsmouth Water
- Read Easy
- Richmond Fellowship
- RSPCA West Sussex: Mount Noddy Animal Centre
- Samaritans
- Stonepillow
- Supporting You Team – Chichester District Council

We’d like to thank all organisations and charities attending for your support, insights and ideas which will help us plan and develop the next event.
Our attendees told us they found it useful to access advice and support all in one place and have friendly, face-to-face conversations.
By working together we know that we are stronger and can help reach more people in our community.
