Without our incredible volunteers we simply wouldn’t be able to do what we do, and the many people facing hardship wouldn’t get the support they need.
We’re committed to providing positive, valued and accessible volunteering opportunities.
What does volunteering with Chichester District Foodbank involve?
As a volunteer you can make a difference in our local community across a range of roles, including delivering donations, packing food parcels, providing a warm welcome, tackling loneliness, signposting to additional services, connecting with partners, raising awareness and helping at events.
What roles do you currently have available?
We currently have volunteering roles across the Chichester district including:
- Food bank drivers collecting food donations from supermarkets, churches, schools and other locations in Chichester and delivering them to our warehouse and other local distribution centres.
- Signposting team member in Chichester working directly with our clients to help them access the support they need.
- Food parcel delivery team members delivering food parcels around the Chichester district in pairs.
- Virtual signposting team members (covering Midhurst and Petworth) working directly with our clients over the phone to help them access the support they need.
