Welcome to our new office manager, Liz Stuart

We’re pleased to announce that Liz Stuart has joined Chichester District Foodbank as our new Office Manager, bringing a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the team.

As our Office Manager, Liz is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the foodbank’s office and building. This includes implementing essential policies and procedures, ensuring health and safety standards, maintaining administrative processes, and managing relationships with our stakeholders. Liz is also working closely with our team to bring our events and projects to life, making sure that everything runs seamlessly.

Liz has recently returned to the Chichester area after many years in London, where she built a diverse and exciting career. From working in theatre to travelling the world aboard cruise ships, Liz eventually found her calling in office management in London. Upon her return to West Sussex, she continued to expand her expertise by working in administrative roles at the prestigious Goodwood and Norfolk Estates. Liz also successfully ran her own property inventory company for a couple of years.

Liz shared her excitement about joining Chichester District Foodbank, saying, “I was thrilled at being offered the role of Office Manager for the Chichester Foodbank, knowing what a vital service food banks provide in the community. I am grateful to be a part of the work that it does, to make a difference, and feel that my work life makes a worthwhile contribution”.

Now settled in Selsey, Liz enjoys the tranquil beauty of the seaside with endless walks along the coast. When she’s not busy managing our office, Liz loves entertaining and socialising with friends and family, cooking up delicious meals, travelling, catching a show at the theatre, and spending time in her garden. Liz dreams of adding a furry friend to her life; a black Labrador to join her for seaside walks.

We are thrilled to have Liz on board and are confident that her extensive experience and passion for helping others will have a significant impact on the work we do at Chichester District Foodbank. Welcome to the team Liz!
