Petworth Businesses’ Christmas Cracker Support!

During Petworth’s festive Christmas Cracker event, Red Card and Petworth Bookshop brought cheer and jingles to the town. Amidst the lights and holiday bustle, customers at Red Card and The Bookshop generously donated to the Petworth Centre of Chichester District Foodbank.

Sally Matson of Red Card led a delightful initiative, ringing bells and cheering for every donation. Their efforts, along with a match-funding boost, raised a fantastic £500!

Joanne Kondabeka, CEO of Chichester District Foodbank, expressed gratitude to Sally, Steve, and their staff for this generous contribution. The funds will play a crucial role in sustaining the Chichester District Foodbank’s efforts during these challenging times.

The impact extends beyond donations; the Foodbank’s Kid’s Lunch Pack scheme is currently delivering 860 Christmas Lunch Packs to households in the Petworth District, including 82 facilitated by local Petworth volunteers.
