Registration for an Easter Holiday Kids Lunch Pack is now open

Chichester District Foodbanks’ supports families who usually rely on fee school meals by providing school holiday food parcels. We call these Holiday Kids Lunch Packs, and they contain 15 lunches for each school aged child in your household.

How do I get an Easter Holiday Kids Lunch Pack?

Registration for our Easter Holiday Kids Lunch Pack is now open. Your school will issue you with a holiday kids lunch pack voucher. You can then register your voucher on our website.

If you haven’t received your voucher, please contact your school directly. Registration for Easter Holiday Lunch Packs closes on Friday 1 March 2023. Make sure you get your voucher and register online in good time.

When you register, you will be asked to choose a pick-up date, time and location. Choose whatever is most convenient for you and remember to take your voucher numbers with you. Your school will issue you with a voucher number for each of your school age children.

Most of our lunch packs are collection only but Petworth and Midhurst registrations will be delivered. If you are not able to attend a collection point, a friend or family member can collect it on your behalf. If they have your voucher numbers.

Where and when can I pick up my holiday kids lunch pack?

When you register your holiday kids lunch pack voucher you can choose a pick-up date, time and location. Don’t worry if you forget this! You will receive a text message the day before confirming the venue and time slot.

You will find a full list of the collection point locations, dates and times here. Collection points in Chichester, Donnington, East Witterings, Selsey, Southbourne and Tangmere are collection only.

If you live in the North of the district, Midhurst and Petworth holiday kids lunch packs are delivery only.

What does a holiday kids lunch pack include?

Each lunch pack contains enough food for 15 lunches and weighs approximately 15kg. If you don’t drive, we recommend that you bring some sort of trolley to transport the boxes home. Or get a lift if you can.

The contents of the boxes vary depending on donation but generally they will include items such as: milk, cereal, pasta and sauce, baked beans, vegetables, fruit, rice pudding and biscuits.

My child has food allergies, can they still have a kids lunch pack?

If your child has food allergies you can request an alternative box on our registration form. If your child has complex allergies, please let us know on the form and we will contact you to discuss what we can do.

I am on a low income and my child is home educated. Can I get a holiday lunch pack voucher?
