Participation Manager (part-time)

At Chichester District Foodbank, we’re looking for a Participation Manager to help us go beyond emergency food support — empowering people, strengthening connections and influencing change.

About the role
This is a unique opportunity to:
• Build trusted relationships with people accessing our food bank
• Create safe, inclusive spaces for people to share their experiences
• Support individuals to grow in confidence, skills, and leadership
• Work with communities and partners to improve access to support
• Amplify lived experience to shape services and influence local/national change

You’ll play a key role in improving wellbeing while helping tackle the root causes of poverty.

We’re looking for someone who is:
• Compassionate, approachable, and person-centred
• Skilled at building relationships with diverse groups
• Experienced in community or voluntary sector work
• Passionate about dignity, justice, and empowering others

Details
• 24 hours per week (flexible)
• Salary: £29,250–£30,810 FTE (£18,720 – £19,718 pro-rata for 24 hours)
• Based in Chichester
• Deadline: 13th April, 5pm
