About

About our food bank

Chichester District Foodbank provides emergency food and support to local people in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of food banks supported by Trussell working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK

We work with frontline professionals to identify people who need emergency food and support. These professionals can give you a voucher which you can exchange for food, other essentials and support at one of our food bank centres across Chichester District.

Our people are the heart of our mission, ensuring efficient operations and compassionate service. Their dedication directly impacts our community by distributing food, managing logistics, and building relationships. Without their skills and commitment, we couldn’t effectively fight hunger or provide essential support to those in need.

Our volunteers

Our large team of volunteers help us provide vital services to our community, and get involved in many aspects of our day-to-day operations. From sorting items at our warehouse and delivering emergency food parcels to guiding clients to support services and helping fundraise at events, our work is only possible through their dedication.
