Making a difference: Our Annual Report

15th April 2025

Between April 2024 to March 2025 we have provided 6,206 people with food parcels, with 61.5% of these going to adults and 38.5% to children.

We have seen an 8% rise in first time visits, highlighting the ever increasing demand for the foodbank and other related services. The rising cost of essentials remains to be the largest contributor as to why people are needing to use the foodbank. Other common reasons include ongoing physical or mental health issues and financial problems such as priority debts and unexpected expenses.

We have provided 935 Kids Lunch Packs (KLPs) this Easter alone. Since we launched the KLP scheme in 2016 we have issued 16,830 lunch packs!

We would like to say ‘Thank You’ to everyone who has donated to our foodbank. We have received 94.3 tonnes in donations in the last financial year.

We provide more than food

Our food parcels can be a lifeline for those struggling to afford the essentials with the rising cost of essentials. Our food parcels also contain other items such as pet food, baby food, nappies and hygiene products.

We work closely with referral agencies and support organisations, using insights from food voucher distribution and food bank visits to connect people with vital services that can help with issues such as debt, housing, caring and health.

We also value feedback from those who use our services, providing various ways to share experiences. Listening helps us advocate for real change.
