We’re delighted to introduce Andrew Dicker as our new Operations Manager for Chichester District Foodbank. Andrew is replacing Sarah Adams, our previous Operations Manager, who has moved into the role of CEO after the recent departure of our Founder Joanne Kondabeka.
Andrew will be overseeing the smooth running of our food bank centres, leading a dedicated volunteer team and ensuring efficient operations. He will also deputise for Sarah when needed.
Andrew brings a wealth of experience to his new role here at the food bank after spending two years at UKHarvest as their Logistics Manager.
Andrew said “I was inspired to take on the role of Operations Manager to help more people and feed those in crisis. I’m looking forward to helping us move into our new premises at Quarry Lane and helping Chichester District Foodbank meet the needs of those in the district”.
Andrew has been living in Chichester for 25 years and worships at Lavant Churches. He has been a church warden and governor for the local primary school as well as Co-Chair of Bishop Luffa’s Parents & Friends Association. Andrew also enjoys walking in The Lakes and Cotswolds and is a collector of fused glass.
We’re looking forward to embracing Andrew’s expertise in operations as we work towards our goal of ending hunger in the Chichester district.
