Making a difference: July 2024 figures

1st August 2024

At Chichester District Foodbank, our commitment to supporting those in need within our community remains steadfast. The latest figures for July 2024 highlight the vital role we play in assisting individuals and families facing food insecurity.

July 2024 statistics:
  • Adults fed: 312
  • Children fed: 199
  • Total people fed: 511

This means that 511 individuals received three meals a day for three days from our emergency food parcels. In total, we provided an incredible 4,599 meals!

More than just meals

These numbers represent more than just food; they signify the lives impacted and the hope provided to those in crisis. Each meal brings stability and a reminder that our community cares deeply for its members.

Balanced nutrition and essential support

Our emergency food parcels are thoughtfully designed to offer balanced nutrition and essential support during times of need. These parcels include a variety of non-perishable food items, ensuring that recipients have enough to eat for three days. This immediate relief allows individuals and families to focus on overcoming their challenges without the added stress of hunger.

Community support makes it possible

Our work is only possible thanks to the incredible support from our community. From donations of food and funds to the tireless efforts of our volunteers, every contribution makes a significant difference. We are deeply grateful for this continued support, which enables us to reach so many people in need.
