As we celebrate Volunteers’ Week, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible volunteers who make Chichester District Foodbank a beacon of hope and support in our community. Your dedication, compassion, and hard work are truly inspiring, and we couldn’t do what we do without you.

Message from Joanne Kondabeka, CEO at Chichester District Foodbank:

“On behalf of Chichester District Foodbank, I want to personally thank each and every one of you for your unwavering commitment and generosity. Your efforts not only help to provide essential support to those in need but also bring warmth and compassion to our community. During Volunteers’ Week, we celebrate you and the vital role you play in making our mission possible. Thank you for your incredible contributions and for being the heart of our Foodbank.”

Volunteers are the backbone of Chichester District Foodbank. From sorting and packing food donations to providing a friendly face and supportive presence to our clients, volunteers carry out numerous essential tasks that keep our operations running smoothly. Your contributions help ensure that no one in Chichester District goes hungry and that everyone feels valued and supported.

We are always in need of more helping hands to continue our mission. If you are passionate about making a difference and want to join a dedicated team of volunteers, we would love to hear from you. Volunteering with us is a rewarding experience where you can meet new people, learn new skills, and contribute to a worthy cause.

How to get involved:
– Volunteer; Help with our day to day efforts, from packing items to working directly with clients to help them out of crisis.

– Fundraising; Join us in raising funds. Host a bake sale or take part in a sponsored activity.

– Spread the word;  Encourage friends, family, and colleagues to get involved and support our cause.
