Generosity of Midhurst community shines through in Kids Lunch Packs initiative

3rd January 2024

In a heart-warming display of community spirit, the Midhurst community rallied together to bring joy to local children during the festive season. A total of 160 Kids Lunch Packs, accompanied by Christmas goodie bags for each child, were delivered, spreading smiles and warmth.

This incredible effort would not have been possible without the invaluable contributions of various individuals and organisations:

  • Seaford College: Provided the essential Kids Lunch Pack boxes, contributing to the success of the initiative.
  • Sarah Lavender: Organised and meticulously planned the delivery schedules, ensuring a smooth and efficient distribution process.
  • Midhurst Volunteers: Dedicated individuals who selflessly delivered all the Kids Lunch Pack boxes, embodying the true spirit of community support.
  • Midhurst Rotary: Generously donated to the goodie bags and played a vital role in both the bag assembly and delivery of boxes, showcasing their commitment to community welfare.
  • Donors from MRC, The Notebook, Tescos, King Edwards Book Club, and all Midhurst Residents: Their generous donations were fundamental in making the children’s goodie bags a reality, underscoring the power of collective community involvement.
  • Goodie Bag Team at the Methodist Church: A team of dedicated individuals who worked diligently to pack the 160 goodie bags, adding a special touch to each one.

The heartfelt appreciation goes out to each contributor, big or small, for their role in making a positive impact on the lives of local children. Their support and generosity have truly brightened the holiday season for Midhurst families.

Thank you to all for embodying the spirit of community and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our local children.
