Welcome to our new Communications Officer, Emily Lovell

We are thrilled to introduce Emily Lovell, who has joined Chichester District Foodbank as our new Communications Officer. Emily will be covering for Jessica Pearce while she is on maternity leave, and she has already proven to be an invaluable asset to our team.

With a strong background in PR communications, marketing, and outstanding photography, Emily brings a wealth of experience and creativity to her new role. Before joining us, Emily managed communications for a London-based housing charity and also freelanced as a photographer. Her skills and expertise are already making a positive impact on our work here at Chichester District Foodbank.

Emily already had ties to Chichester with family locally and recently moved to Chichester from London, eager to join Chichester District Foodbank to help raise awareness about the incredible work we do while supporting her local community. She shared, “I wanted to be part of a team that not only provides essential food support but also addresses the wider issues that lead people to use foodbanks in the first place. Signposting to organisations that offer help with housing, energy bills, and childcare is crucial, and I’m excited to contribute to this mission.”

Living in Chichester with her husband and their pampered cat, Emily enjoys walking, travelling, writing, and, of course, photography. She’s looking forward to meeting more volunteers and community members at our upcoming events and getting to know the people who make CDF such a special place.

Emily has quickly become a key member of our team, and we are excited to see the positive impact she will continue to have on our communications efforts. Please join us in welcoming Emily Lovell to Chichester District Foodbank!
