Process Manager (Part time / Permanent Contract)

Chichester District Foodbank is a vibrant and ever-evolving community project which provides emergency food to over 2500 local people every year.

We are looking to employ a Process Manager for 20 hours per week (with the option to work 15 hours during the quiet period and 25 hours during the busy season from October to January) at £17,680 (£8840 pro rata). Occasional weekend work.

As the Process Manager you will oversee the running of a busy Foodbank warehouse in Chichester. You will lead a team of volunteers to ensure adequate food and other provisions are available for the needs of the foodbank centres across the district. In addition you will be responsible for the day to day operation including administrative duties, managing stock levels, transportation, collections, deliveries and legislative standards. i.e. Health & Safety/Environmental Health.

As a Trust with a Christian foundation, the appointee will be required to work in a way that is actively sympathetic, respectful of and supportive towards the Christian values and work of the Charity.
